Using eNutri
As part of your participation in the study, we will ask you to complete an online food and drink questionnaire.
eNutri is the online platform we use to obtain this information.

How does eNutri work?
· You can expect to be asked about different food groups you may have eaten in the last few weeks, such as meat, fish, dairy, vegetables and fruits. The questions will become more specific as you proceed through the questionnaire.
· You will not need to remember specific information about food you have eaten (e.g. 250g of chicken last Wednesday). Instead, you will be shown pictures of different portion sizes, and will be asked to select the image that most closely matches your typical portion size.
· There will be a tutorial video when you first access eNutri. Please note you will have to watch the video in order to proceed onto the questionnaire.
· The questionnaire should take approximately 25 minutes to complete.
How many times will I need to use eNutri?
· Depending on whether you have chosen to take part in WP1 or WP2, you may be asked to complete eNutri either once or three times.
· If you have selected WP1, you will be asked to complete eNutri for your first and only study appointment.
· If you have selected WP2, you will be asked to complete eNutri for your first, second, and final study appointments.
o This means you will not have to complete eNutri for your third study appointment.
When will I need to complete eNutri?
· Please ensure you complete the food and drink questionnaire on the day of your study appointment, or the day before if you have some spare time.
· The questionnaire can be completed online at home, or on your phone on your way to the study appointment if you are taking public transportation, if you like.
How do I use eNutri for Study Appointment 1?
· To complete eNutri for Study Appointment 1, please follow these instructions:
1. Go to https://gut-brain-study.web.app/
2. Select Menu -> Login -> New Account
3. Enter your details. In the Referral Code box, please enter the study ID provided to you by the researchers. This will be included in your study appointment reminder email and will follow one of these formats:
a) For WP1: W1_ _ _
b) For WP2: W2AB_ _ _ or W2BA_ _ _
4. Complete the questionnaire following the instructions given in the tutorial video.
How do I use eNutri for Study Appointment 2?
· Completing eNutri for Study Appointment 2 will be very similar to your first study appointment. However, you will be asked to follow a different link and to create a new login.
· To complete eNutri for Study Appointment 2, please follow these instructions:
1. Go to https://gut-brain-study-2.web.app/
2. Select Menu -> Login -> New Account
3. Enter your details. In the Referral Code box, please enter the study ID provided to you by the researchers. This will be included in your study appointment reminder email and will follow one of these formats:
a) For arm AB: W2AB_ _ _
b) For arm BA: W2BA_ _ _
4. Complete the questionnaire following the instructions given in the tutorial video.
How do I use eNutri for Study Appointment 3?
· You don't! There is no need to complete the food and drink questionnaire, as the time between study appointment 2 and study appointment 3 is the washout period.
How do I use eNutri for Study Appointment 4?
· You will use the same link and login for Study Appointment 4 as you did for your second appointment. This means you will not have to create a new login for your last study appointment.
· Please follow these instructions to complete eNutri for Study Appointment 4:
1. Go to https://gut-brain-study-2.web.app/
2. Select Menu -> Login -> and enter your details.
3. Select Menu -> Questionnaire.
4. Complete the questionnaire following the instructions given in the tutorial video.
